Red USA Vise 10

Pics of a red USA made vise I got from an estate sale, i think the jaws are 10″ wide, it was rusted so i cleaned it up a bit

The jaws only contact on one side but mostly work, the main shaft screw was more of an issue and hard to turn

Assembled, I inserted some shims to make the jaw sliding more parallel and smoother

Had to replace the pin holding the vise nut in position, i shimmed the vise nut on the dovetail side and also used a brass rod that barely fit to replace the pin

I cut the pin to length and hammered in, way better jaw sliding
